Delete your account
You can permanently delete your own China2BD account at any time. Below is how to do it and what will be deleted.
How to delete
From the app
Open মেনু → Privacy ও Settings → অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থায়ীভাবে মুছুন. Confirm with your password — or, if you signed in with Google or Facebook and have no password, type DELETE — and the account is deleted.
From the website
Log in and use the form on this page, or open your profile settings and go to the "Delete account" section at the very bottom. Confirm with your password — or, if your account has no password (Google or Facebook sign-in), type DELETE.
No email on your account?
If you signed up with Facebook using a phone number, your account may have no email address. You do not need one to delete it: Log in with Facebook (on the website or in the app) and use either way above. If you cannot log in any more, write to us as below with the link to your China2BD profile, and we will help you prove the account is yours.
By email
If you cannot log in, write to support@china2bd.site from your registered email address. We reply within 14 days, confirm that the account is yours, and then delete it within 30 days.
What will be deleted
- Your profile, name, photo and contact information
- All your posts, product photos and comments
- Your public profile and published posts will no longer be visible
- The text of messages you sent and attached files
- Verification documents you submitted
- Push notification device tokens and all login sessions
Does anything remain?
Other users' own messages, and necessary records of earlier quotes, leads, reports and support requests, may remain; there your identity will appear as “Deleted account”. Public content is removed immediately; a background cleanup deletes stored files, normally within minutes, and retries if it fails.
- Backups: our encrypted nightly backups are deleted automatically after 35 days, so your data is gone from them within 35 days of deletion. If a backup is ever restored, deletions are applied again.
- Server logs (IP addresses and pages requested): deleted after 14 days.
- App crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics, no name or email): deleted after 90 days.
This action cannot be undone.
